Xaviera Yau is an in-demand multilingual emcee who has experience in television ranging from anchoring to host of live shows and programs based in Hong Kong.
Raised in a family with diverse cultures: she is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin; and conversational in Burmese and Japanese. Often praised for her natural linguistic aptitude, versatile hosting skills and improvisational adaptability.
An alumna of UCLA with a degree in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics, Xaviera has a sharp and analytical mind. Her original plan was to continue her career path in scientific research. However, by coincidence, she embarked in her tv-hosting and emcee career after competing in the Miss Hong Kong pageant. Four years into her MC career, she saw the potential of the event MC market as she noticed that clients are often looking for skilled professional MC for their events. Therefore, she co-founded YTY Studio HK a public speaking academy, which provides public speaking training services to corporations and MC skills training to newcomers.
With close to a decade of experience, she has hosted over a thousand events and shows not only in Hong Kong, but also Davos, Milan, USA, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan and Mainland China. Highly sought after for her talents and experience in emceeing, she will be a valuable asset for your companies’ next event.
